In-Home Client Consultation
No charge for the initial consultation – we want to meet you and your pets; plus we want you to feel comfortable with us! This first-time meeting usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. We will provide a packet of information including: Veterinary Release, Terms and Conditions, Service Request Form, and Dog Information Form or Cat Information Form.
Reservations
Reservations can be placed by calling us at 360.600.2487 after the intial in-home client consultation. We can also be reached via e-mail at colleen@pawsitivelypetcare.com. All reservations will need to be confirmed by Pawsitively Pet Care via phone or email.
Holiday Reservations: Should be made no less than two weeks in advance to ensure availability.
Pawsitively Pet Care cannot service a client from a phone message left on our voice mail. We must confirm verbally the conditions of the service before service will start. Please do leave a detailed message if you receive our voice mail with your name, phone and date you request the service and we will return your call promptly for verbal confirmation.
Service Request
New clients: We will provide you with a Service Request Form and other information during the in-home consultation visit.
Existing clients: We will keep your contract on file with your most recent Service Request Form. However a new Service Request Form must be filled out and signed prior to any new service. EXAMPLE: one Service Request can be submitted for multiple visits or ongoing routine visits as long as this is stated on the Service Request Form. A new Service Request can be submitted for any special circumstance (such as a vacation services) in addition to continuing services you have reserved. This is to ensure we are meeting the needs you expect for your cherished pets or Home Security Visit.
Keys
Pawsitively Pet Care will request a key at your initial consultation. We can safely keep this key in a safe locked space in our office. Accesses via a garage door opener with the code, or a lockbox are other options that work well.
Pets
All pets should be up-to-date on vaccinations. It is highly recommended that all pets wear identification tags while in our care.
Veterinarian Arrangements
We recommend that you notify and leave your credit card on file with your veterinarian in the case of an emergency, in addition to signing the Veterinary Release Form (provided at your initial consultation visit).
Before you Leave your Home
If there are any changes to the routine, please leave specific instructions relating to the current visit in a visible location or call Pawsitively Pet Care at 360.600.2487. Also, please advise us if there is alarm code or key changes. Please check to make sure food supplies, medications, special treats, leashes, or cat litter disposal bags are in stock and are easily visible so Pawsitively Pet Care can perform the service according to your instructions. The Service Request Form provides areas for this information to be explained further.
Payment
Payment for all services are due on or before the first date of service unless other arrangements have been discussed. Cash or check. Please make checks out to Pawsitively Pet Care.
Cancellations
Overnight Sitting: 24 hour cancellation policy; If less, there will be a $30 fee.
Vacation Pet Sitting: 24 hour cancellation policy; if less, there will be a $20 fee.
Daily Dog Walking/Cat Care: 24 hour cancellation policy or the full service fee will be applied.
